Breakfast

We want to make sure that you have options for the most important meal of your day. Some of you may be eating a yummy breakfast in your hotel, but for those of you who aren’t, here are some delicious options to start your day.

 

Penny Ann’s Cafe is a great option for a traditional style breakfast. With two locations in Salt Lake City, there is plenty of pancakes to go around!

 

Eggs in the City is a former gas station that has now evolved into a delicious and unique breakfast spot. Eggs in the City offers traditional items with a little bit of a twist like cinnamon swirl pancakes! The restaurant is small, so make sure you get there early if you want an early birds breakfast. ?

 

Cafe on 1st offers great breakfast that’s easy to grab and go! They open at 7am, so it’s easy to get a quick bite and still make it to all the vendors you want to see before sessions start. Cafe on 1st also offers lunch, so keep that in mind if everything else is wayyy too busy (like it always is).

 

Cupla Coffee offers organic coffee and quick bites, such as bagels or a cup of oatmeal. With yummy drinks and eats, this is definitely a place you’ve gotta go. ☕️

 

Kneaders Bakery & Cafe is just a quick jump across the road from the Salt Palace. Not only is it super convenient, their breakfast is to die for ? Treat yourself to an omelet or unlimited french toast (go ahead, we both know you’ve earned it).

Lunch & Dinner

 

R&R BBQ is a local barbecue award winning restaurant. With 4.5 stars and thousands of reviews, this option is almost guaranteed to be a hit. This restaurant offers sandwiches, meat plates, burgers, ribs and much more. No one can turn down delicious barbecue, I’m not alone right?! ?

 

The Red Iguana is a go to Mexican food restaurant in Salt Lake City. It was featured on Diners Drive-ins and Dives and is a bit hit among every crowd. With gluten free and vegetarian options, everyone can find something they will enjoy! They offer everything from soup and salad to their classic Mexican specialties. This is not a restaurant you will want to skip out on. ❤️

 

Sweet Lake Biscuits & Limeade is the perfect option for those you maybe only had a light breakfast or want an earlier lunch. With delicious breakfast options and amazing biscuit sandwiches for lunch, this restaurant will have your mouth watering for days following. ?They also serve several specialty limeades that are sure to be a crowd pleaser.

 

Valter’s Osteria is an upscale Italian restaurant that was top rated by TripAdvisor. There are vegetarian options to accommodate anyone! With classic Italian dishes, everyone craves Valter’s. ?  Not only is the food impeccable, but their service is top class. Everyone should feel like one big family at Valter’s. Give it a shot!

 

Ruth’s Chris Steak House is a classic choice for a nice meal. Although it is on the high end price wise, it might be nice to treat yourself while you can! No one can compare to Ruth’s Chris’ tender steaks. This is a meal you will talk about for years to come. Who knows, maybe it will become a convention tradition. ?

 

Zest Kitchen & Bar offers vegetarian and vegan options, and their courses are delish. Enjoy globally inspired cuisine that supports local farmers, businesses and other organizations (bless up ??). This restaurant is first-come-first-serve during convention, so no need to worry about making a reservation! ??

 

The Roof is an experience you can only find in Salt Lake. Located on the 10th floor of the Joseph Smith Memorial Building, the view of downtown Salt Lake City is breathtaking! ?With gourmet food and a once in a lifetime view, The Roof is an experience you will never forget.

 

J Wong’s Thai & Chinese Bistro offers a refreshing taste of delicious Asian cuisine in a historic building over 100 years old! Choose from dine-in or takeout, conveniently located directly south of the Salt Palace.
