Convention is the only thing on everyone’s minds because it’s NEXT WEEKEND!!! ?For you first time convention goers, this year’s theme, “Dream”, could not be more fitting for you. People dream of going to convention the second that oils become a part of their lives! We wanted to make sure we gave some tips to our first years friends so that your convention experience is unforgettable.
- Find your people! It’s not very often that you get to be surrounded by people who are as passionate about essential oils as you are, so take advantage! Talk to people around you! You will make lifelong friends and learn new tips that can help enhance your essential oil experience as well as help you grow your business. The people you meet will make your convention experience something you treasure.
- Plan food ahead. After a long day of classes, you will want a big, yummy meal to tie you over or end the day with. There are plenty of food options at the arena as well as at locations nearby. Planning ahead where you will eat each meal will help to reduce any stress of frantically deciding the day of! - Bring money for oil goodies! Shopping at convention is my personal favorite part… can you say shopaholic? ? Buying essential oil cases and bottles online is still fun, but there is something magical about seeing it all in person! Bring money, (and if you’re like me, an extra suitcase) and shop until you drop!
- Forget a book, buy Droplii! It can be extremely frustrating to wait in a long line to get your hands on information about the newest oils. With Droplii, those days are long gone. ?? We will have all of the new oils in our app as soon as they are announced! That leaves you with more time to do the things that really matter. I mean, who wants to waste their time standing in a line?!
- Dress smart. Convention is no joke. We’re talking you will be walking like you’re at Disneyland. (It’s just as fun as Disney too, don’t worry) so you will want comfortable shoes without a doubt! The weather in Salt Lake City is unpredictable. You might be freezing cold in the morning and sweating by lunch. Pack a light jacket in your backpack so you are prepared for anything that comes your way!
